Nokia 8800 Arte Among these new cell phones is the Nokia 8800 series which is aimed for the style conscious mobile phone user who doesn't want to go with the iPhone but would prefer the more traditional design in mobile phones.
I don't know what it is with Nokia and giving their mobile phones a name, before the start of the mobile phone boom, Nokia just named their handsets with numbers and now I keep seeing these weird sounding names that, FYI Nokia, doesn't really help in selling your mobile phones.
Nokia 8800 has been one of my favorite models. Unfortunately my salary doesn’t allow me to be a proud owner of one of them. But that doesn’t stop me from digging up on more from the same family. Exclusively designed for the style-conscious, Nokia has unveiled the Nokia 8800 Arte and Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte. This sensual model also promises a 2.0-inch QVGA OLED display, 3.2 megapixel camera with 8x digital zoom, 1GB of built-in memory, an anti-fingerprint coating on the metal and glass, MicroUSB all-in-one-connector and a leather pouch with linen-lining to keep things tidy. The Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte adds to the sense of exclusivity by further enhancing its polished steel case with a genuine sapphire gem stone and an accent of soft leather, creating an even richer, sensual feel. No phone is complete without an MP3 Player onboard and these new handsets are no exception and to add to this they both come with a 1GB memory to boot.
Apart from 3G Connectivity, the new Nokia 8800 duo boast EDGE Technology, Bluetooth Wireless and microUSB connectivity.
